Only one (1) entry per person is permitted. The competition is run by Palace Cinemas and commences on the 3rd of November 2021. Entries close 15th of December 2021.
This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon individual creative merit. The winners will be notified via email within 7 days of competition closing, on this day and the name of the winners will be notified publicly.
If the email address of the winner/s supplied is invalid, then the winner/s will be disqualified, and new winner/s will be drawn. If the prize is not claimed by the 21st of December 2021 the winner’s entry will be deemed invalid and a redraw will be conducted. In this event, no compensation will be given to the original winner. Additional reserve entries will be drawn in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn.
This competition is open to all residents of Australia, over the age of 18 years, who hold a valid ticket to the 2021 British Film Festival, presented by Palace Cinemas. Directors, management, employees, officers, contractors and their immediate families of Palace Cinemas and Bowers & Wilkins Australia Pty Ltd or of the agencies or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, Bowers & Wilkins Australia Pty Ltd and Palace Cinemas will not be responsible for any loss, injury, cost, expense, harm or damage whatsoever that may arise directly or indirectly as a result of this competition, including without limitation, where it arises from:
- theft or fraud;
- the unauthorised access to or alteration of entries;
- an error, interruption, misdirection, deletion, defect or delay in the transmission of information related to this competition which is beyond the reasonable control;
- any third-party interference;
- any technical malfunctions or problems with computer equipment or software;
- the redemption of gift vouchers; and
- participation in this competition generally.
If this competition is not viable or able to be conducted as originally anticipated due to any reason beyond reasonable control, Bowers & Wilkins Australia Pty Ltd may in its absolute discretion alter, suspend or cancel the competition as deemed reasonably appropriate. In the unlikely event of this occurring, a notice will be posted on the British Film Festival website.
